Robot Trading System – WPR Results for 2008

This is an automated message and this time we are trading the WPR oscillator with a risk setting of 2.8 – for the year 2008.

You might remember the fact, that 2008 was the year where a lot of folks lost a lot of money, because of the financial crisis.

So this year is still tradable with the WPR – also known as the Williams Percent Range indicator.

But we only use a risk setting of 2.8 in this example while we could use a risk setting of 8 or 9 in the year before.

The risk setting will influence the number of trades that are allowed to be opened for this system.

Financial risk is something that makes all the difference. I usually recommend to start with a very low risk like 1 and increase it later – if everything works out.

In this case I think the results are very impressive, because a lot of other entry signals do not produce such a straight equity and balance curve.
