In this automated video you will see the Bollinger Bands results for 2017 with a risk setting of 10.

I really like the fact, that we could make a profit for each of the last 7 years with this indicator, but the results have been different for each year.

Actually it doesn’t really matter if we trade from January the 1st or if we pick any other date.

I like to trade one year at a time, but you can also pick a longer or shorter period.

But I would suggest, that you always pick the same time span, because that will make it easy to compare the results.

One big problem in automated trading is the fact, that it is hard to compare the performance for several systems if you use different time spans, different settings and different account sizes.

So just decide what you are going to choose and compare against each other.

In this video series we always use a $50000 account, the Bollinger Bands and the same currency pair to trade exactly one year at a time.

That makes it easy to compare the results, don’t you think?
