Robot Trading System – RSI Results for 2007

play-sharp-fill

This recording is automated and we are going to trade the RSI oscillator for 2007.

We are using a risk setting of 7 in this example.

The RSI is an oscillator and it can be automated in a few minutes.

Oscillators are Indicators that are usually placed below the main chart and often they are used in combination with other indicators.

An oscillator will show your signals based on extreme conditions. In our case we create a signal whenever the price leaves the usual rage and is above the upper or below the lower dotted line.

Above 70 is considered to be overbought, below 30 is considered to be oversold.

So we create a sell signal above 70, because we expect the price to fall and a buy signal below 30, because we think the price will rise.

2007 was a good year to trade the RSI and we see balance and equity going up – like on rails – here.
