Let’s have a look how the RSI performed in 2011 in this automated video message!

There are so many different indicators out there, but the RSI is one of the best known oscillators.

One reason might be, that it is easy to understand.

In this video we are using a risk setting of 12 for the RSI signal. Warning: This is highly dangerous, don’t do this at home!

A too high risk setting could easily lead to a huge draw down and it is better to start with a low risk setting and increase the value later.

You can see that the equity and the balance are rising in a very nice way, but that doesn’t mean that such a high risk setting is a guarantee for that.

It works well for 2011, but in 2008 you would have had no chance of survival, so – you have been warned!

Actually I consider a risk setting above 10 to be insane. I know, there are a lot of folks out there who don’t think that – so make your own decision.
