Robot Trading System – WPR Results for 2010

video
play-sharp-fill

We are trading the year 2010 in this automated video. This time we are using a risk setting of 4.5.

2010 would not be the best year to trade the Williams Percent Range oscillator, it is still profitable, but we have seen far better years already.

With automated trading it is like in real life. One year you have a very nice summer, like this one.

In other years the weather might be bad. It rained for weeks and weeks in some years.

But you can’t change the weather and you can’t change the markets, so we need to trade whatever the markets offer.

Yes, you could also decide not to trade – and maybe you should, because trading is not for everybody – but as long as you are trading, you need to set the sail according to the weather.

So 4.5 would be an adequate risk setting for 2010. A bigger risk would probably produce losses on a $50000 account.

If you have a bigger account, you can try a bigger risk setting, but as all backtesting conditions are kept equal in this video series, I would go with a low risk.
